About Diploma of Accountancy

Accountancy has always been an integral part of business operations as it is a systematic and comprehensive maintenance of financial records and information.

Accounting functions provide the company’s management to oversee and manage its cash flow and assets.

Students taking the Diploma of Accountancy (DOA) can expect to undergo a comprehensive programme in which they will be taught tools of the trade. From legal technicalities to its practical knowledge and principles, the programme will prepare students to be qualified accounting technicians.

Graduates of this programme are recognised by the Association of International Accountants (AIA) and will then assist Chartered Accountants on their job or they can opt to continue with the BA (Honours) Accounting and Finance (University of Plymouth). Our DOA graduates are also fully Exempted by ACCA for Fundamentals Knowledge.

You will be able to grasp fundamental Business knowledge in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Economics, Business Law and Information Technology.

Upon successful completion of the programme, you can choose to continue your studies into the Diploma in Business Studies programme, and then to the Business Degree Programme by the University of Plymouth, UK.
