Headquartered in Batu Kawan, Penang, Peninsula College’s educational infrastructure is designed with the campus-in-industry model, whereby having a physical presence in an industrial park puts us in a unique position to bridge the gap between graduate skills and industry needs via academia-industry collaboration. Our other 2 campuses, The Lighthouse Campus in Shah Alam and The City Campus in Klang are also designed to encourage learning in a real world corporate environment.
Peninsula College is wholly owned by PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd, one of the largest logistics solutions providers in Malaysia. PKT Logistics Group is proud to be working closely with Japan-based Mitsui OSK. Lines Ltd (MOL).
MOL’s investment is to enhance its operational capabilities in Malaysia and also to further develop the One Auto Hub, an integrated logistics, education and automotive hub located in Batu Kawan, Penang.
This positions Peninsula College as a pioneer skill and education provider in Southeast Asia with state-of-art corporate campuses in Selangor and Penang, Malaysia. It enables student learning to intersect with real life working environment; a platform for them to enhance their academic knowledge through hands-on exposure.
Students of Peninsula College are exposed to real-life work experience through our signature Peninsula Advantage Programme which encompasses the Jom Bekerja Sambil Belajar (JBSB) Programme which gives them the opportunity to work part-time across various departments within PKT Logistics Group. Students who take part in the programme are able to obtain hands-on practical industry experiences that help bridge the gap between theories and practice while earning income in the process.
A total of RM2 million worth of scholarships will be given out by Yayasan PKT to eligible students. Students with exemplary SPM, O-Level and UEC examination results are encouraged to apply for these scholarships.
