Education
It is our belief that learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere. With that in mind, Yayasan TSLSC dedicates itself to the advancement of human capital by providing scholarships and financial assistance to underprivileged students. The foundation supports initiatives that enhance student’s capabilities as potential leaders who can work equally with their brains and their hearts.
Community Enrichment
Yayasan TSLSC’s contribution reaches out to different sectors of the community irrespective of race or religion. We are involved in both formal community projects as well as informal community outreach activities, dedicating our time and energy to help alleviate the needs of the disadvantaged communities in Malaysia and abroad. With IOI Group’s management commitment, the spirit of love and care is inculcated into the work culture with favourable support from IOI employees.
Medical Assistance
Yayasan TSLSC recognises its duty as a good neighbour. We are an active partner of cities and communities, working closely with schools and charitable organisations to educate, support and engage in projects across Malaysia. From tackling poverty to helping communities lead healthy and energetic lifestyles, we endeavour to build a better future for everybody.
Social Enterprise
Bargain Basement has been accredited under the Impact Driven Enterprise Accreditation Program (IDEA) by Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC). An Impact Driven Enterprise is an organisation (either for-profit or non-profit) that proactively creates positive social or environmental impact in a way that is financially sustainable.
Promotion of STEM
We have collaborated with Chumbaka Sdn Bhd and with matchfunding from Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM) as a co-sponsor of the IOI-Puchong STEM Programme under their National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) initiative. It is an after school programme involving RM 250,000 focused on four specific disciplines, namely Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM).
